Katsunyaka is a restaurant that provide Japanese food style which also adopts Japanese design style in the building and its interior.

We were given the opportunity to design one of its tenants which is located in the middle of the commercial area where we are offering some different concepts from several of its existing stores. Thus, focusing on the interior concept of the restaurant which is oriented towards customers who come from various age of groups so that the atmosphere of the restaurant has to feel comfortable and more inclusive.

With so little space we have and the needs of high capacity, we tried to minimalizing unnecessary ornaments on all aspects of the design and paying attention to the space so that we can provide a comfortable space and we tried to prevent cross circulation between visitors and operational by making the room without partitions.

Most of the facade of the store is transparent so there will be interactions between passer by and the people inside the store. In the interior of the building, we try to combine a characterful industrial style and a Japanese minimalist style with a blend of natural touches from wood materials and potted plants placed between visitors' tables.
