Amity coffee and space is located in a historical Dutch colonial building that still retains its authenticity from the past, so we are very careful and cautious to see what the potential and constraints are. We tried to make something different and modern touch while maintaining the original looks of the old building on the exterior and interior by combining a contemporary industrial style as a response to the present that is trying to attract young generations.

The spread of split stone, concrete finishes and steel tables match the outdoor area that is enclosed by a unique rope fence facing directly onto the main road. Surrounded by shady trees and tropical plants so that the collaboration across different era can create a unique, old yet stylish vibe.

The same goes for the interiors, where the high ceilings of a typical colonial-style that feels cold are combined with wooden materials such as furniture, walls and ceilings to give a warmer and more homely feeling.
